QA Lead, Test Analyst (Westbury, NY)

Company Brief:

Boasting over 20 yrs in business my client’s mastery of technology, specifically software in the Retail Space, has helped position them as number 1 in their markets.  They are presently seeking a Software Quality Assurance Lead, who in collaboration with the Director of Quality Assurance, will be responsible for Performance Testing Software Applications utilizing LoadRunner and or Microsoft Visual Studio Tools. 

 

Responsibilities:

• Proficient developing, executing and analyzing  “load & stress” performance  Test Plans.
• Documents all tests plans maintaining up to date status and outcomes.
• Understands, maintains and implements Quality Assurance Best Practices and Procedures.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience executing LoadRunner (Monitors & Analysis Tools & or Microsoft Visual Studio versions tests (ABSOLUTE MUST))
• 3+ years test experience writing test plans, cases and scripts.
• Hands-on testing; Black-Box Testing and White-Box Testing
• Infrastructure Hardware understanding
• Solid understanding of software architecture technologies (e.g. HTML, VB, .Net, XML, Java, Web Services, SOA, SOAP, Unix/Linux knowledge)
• Solid scripting and programming skills ( C/C++, C#, Visual Basic, VBScript, Java, SQL & Batch Files & JavaScript)
• Experience with  Citrix, HTTP and Web Services protocols
• Project Plan oriented and understands integrated complex schedule completion dependencies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; a multi-tasker
• HP LoadRunner Certification (CPC, CPS, CI); Microsoft Visual Studio; Web Services necessary for success in this role.

Education:

• BS/BA Degree, Advanced Degree a plus
